A young, recently married couple came to our store several years ago to try us out. They were under a great deal of pressure because they desired a mattress that was beyond their financial means. Having visited a local sleep center, they had fallen in love with a mattress that was "on sale" for several thousand dollars. Furthermore, they were delaying their honeymoon in order to get properly settled in their new home. Very wisely, they didn't want to start their married life with a mediocre mattress. We took on the challenge to find them a similar, top-of-the-line mattress, comparable to what they wanted, but for $2,500 less than they were quoted! They were amazed and grateful, and later that month we were surprised by a postcard from them from Madrid. You need to get a feel for what's out there, what you like, and what you are willing to pay. Take your time and learn what makes one mattress different from another.
